As part of the Masters of Architecture program at Drury University, the 5th and final year consists of a senior project. It challenges us to explore areas of expertise we would like to work in. I chose the drought in California and how Southern California is becoming more water independent. Southern California remains one of my top choices for future employment. The book is a prerequisite research analysis to the studio project I will complete by the end of my college career.
The book shown in the pictures is a "first draft" that tries to explore various methods of laying out editorial text and imagery. Filler text is placed while the book develops into a complete and concise thesis topic. Clean lines and fade adds to the vintage California, west coast design theme I wanted.
