Crush Cakes website revamp was a hypothetical project done for my first Web Design class. The project was a way for the class to become familiar with Adobe Dreamweaver and the beginnings of CSS and HTML.
Our task was to take an existing business with a subpar, confusing design and to redesign it into something that is clean and easy to use. We also had to pay attention to the demographics using the website.
Crush Cakes is a cupcakery with many locations in the Santa Barbara area. They serve both cupcakes and café-type food. Their website is dark and difficult to navigate. The new design tries to simplify the experience, opening new tabs when necessary.
